For When You Need a Little Extra

A retainer package provides ongoing design services without the need to hire a full-time designer. Enabling you to work with a designer who understands your brand while paying a discounted monthly price for an allocated block of time to tend to all your design requirements.

You can access professional design services throughout the year without hiring a full-time designer and take advantage of a discounted rate for all your projects. This means you can focus on what you do best and leave the design work to me.

By locking in more hours, you’ll save even more when compared to my hourly and fixed price rates. Plus, since you’ve paid in advance for an allocated block of my time, I’ll always prioritise your work to ensure we meet your deadlines.

Services that aren’t included in the retainer package

Please note that not all my services or packages are included in the monthly retainer. There will be extra charges if you want additional services on top of the retainer inclusions.

The Design Retainer Package Details

I understand that you need to be sure a retainer is the right fit for your business. That’s why there is a 3-month minimum commitment, which, once over, we will evaluate to ensure it meets your needs. After this initial period, you can choose to continue with a 6, 9, or 12-month contract, which means that you have the flexibility to choose what works best for your business.

Your monthly project retainer comes with a set number of hours. In the event that you exceed your allocated hours, I will inform you before billing any additional hours at a rate of $65 per hour. If you require extra time, the decision is entirely up to you.

It is important to note that any unused hours on the retainer will expire at the end of the month without the possibility of rolling over to the next month. This defeats the purpose of having a retainer and is something you should consider when planning and scheduling work.

You will receive an invoice on the first day of each month that includes your chosen monthly rate and any additional charges from the previous month. As well as this, you will receive a breakdown of the projects that I completed for you during the last month.

Every month, we will go over the projects you want to tackle in the upcoming month, and I will add them to my schedule for review.

Getting Started

Once we have had the opportunity to discuss your requirements, I will send over a contract outlining the retainer and first payment. Following this, we can review the projects for the first month and begin work.


Repeat

At the end of each month, we’ll discuss our project requirements for the following month. Additionally, on the first day of each month, I will send you an invoice for that month.


Re-evaluate

At the end of the initial 3-month period, we will review your plan to ensure that the set number of hours is still appropriate before proceeding with a new contract or longer retainer term. We can make any necessary adjustments before finalising the agreement.
